Kampong Cham is one of the most populous provinces of Cambodia. The provincial capital is also called Kampong Cham. The city is the third largest in the country. (1 Phnom Penh, Battambang 2). It is located along the Mekong River, 125 kilometers east of Phnom Penh. Kampong Cham is in German port, waiting at the people on the arriving king Baksey Cham Krong. One can reach the town by land or by water. Residents of Kampong Cham are very friendly and open. In the province live 1703 854 and in the town of 60524 people (commune Database, CDB in January 2014). The city had before the war, a university and a racecourse (1973 destroyed during the war). Many
